This virtual workshop was designed as a way for early-stage companies, operating in the built environment, to understand some of the important technical and commercial considerations when pitching themselves and their companies as sustainable.  We linked five early-stage companies addressing sustainability challenges in a commercial context with industry and sustainable leaders in a one-to-one format.

The program also included workshops with our in-house sustainability experts Dr. Tim Forman and Amie Shuttleworth, taking the companies through a detailed look at sustainability trends and issues within the built environment. This included a better understanding of whole life impacts of property assets and how they are measured and tracked, what credible NZC pathways include, emerging frameworks around social value and biodiversity and an appreciation of how the sustainability agenda is evolving.
